At the annual Music of the World Variety Concert - Academy students are busy expanding the boundaries of the musical arts from all parts of the world. PIANO, ORGAN & KEYBOARD
The education of pianists at the World Music Academy emphasizes the development of a large performance repertory along with the pianistic skills. In addition to traditional works from the eighteenth, nineteenth, and twentieth centuries, students are encouraged to explore contemporary keyboard and experimental music. Students will be able to operate modern technology like keyboard and digital instruments and also play an acoustic piano. We provide piano lessons for all levels, from beginners to advanced players, including jazz, blues, classical, theory, and arranging. GUITAR
At our guitar lessons, student can obtain guitar practice on all styles and all levels. They provide the information and techniques that aspiring guitarists need to become better. We offer theory lessons on everything from scales and modes to chord construction. Learn the core blues forms and how to improvise over any chord progression. Choose from learning classic, flamenco, Latin rock, jazz or pop styles. Guitar lessons help students to prepare for multifaceted performances of chamber ensembles, orchestral, jazz and rock bands or solo repertory. DRUMS
Drums are the world's oldest and most ubiquitous musical instruments, and the basic design has remained virtually unchanged for thousands of years. Drum lessons will teach you good technique, how to read music (essential if you plan on making drumming a career), and the foundational rudimentary exercises upon which all rhythms are built. Once you have these down, you can then work on developing your individual style. Get advanced tips and tricks for improving your drum practice sessions, developing groove, and improving your overall musicianship. VOCAL TRAINING
Vocal training program offers technique course, including breth support, vibrato contol, articulation, phrasing, voice coloring and more. Vocal lessons help to create own style in singing. Whether you are a beginning student or a performer, our vocal study course will strengthen your voice, increase your endurance, enhance the natural resonance of your true voice, and teach your body to relax and allow the gift you have been given to flow from you into the world. Our method will teach you how to use your voice as an instrument with no keyboard to look at, or valves to push. And with repetition and dedication, anyone can use this instrument, anyone can sing!
